Yes. The Western Colorado Journalism Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

The WCJF aims to enhance the depth and quality of local reporting in Western Colorado by doubling the number of working journalists over time. That means directly supporting organizations that employ professional journalists like newspapers and other serious news outlets. You may earmark your donation for a particular news outlet or even a particular news beat at that news outlet. The Foundation board of directors will assure that your donation will be deployed as you direct. Otherwise, it will target areas where it perceives there is the greatest need.
